Accessibility

At Fearless Performance, we stand by the principles of Learn, Love Well, and Let Go, and we believe it’s our responsibility to make our trainings accessible to everyone.

We are committed to providing training and resources to equip all musicians to share their story on stage through effective preparation and performance. With this commitment includes making our digital experiences accessible to all musicians, regardless of race, age, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and religion.

We are working deliberately and diligently on making our websites accessible by making every effort to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level A.  Upon meeting these guidelines, we will continue upgrading our offerings to conform to Level AA.

To accomplish this, we incorporate usability features on our sites that make it easy for screen reader users, keyboard only users, users with low/impaired vision, and users who are color blind. Additionally, here's what we're doing:

Public Services

  • We are building a new website following the WCAG 2.1 guidelines, which will be available by May 2023

  •  All podcast episodes (audio only) are offered in transcript form and with a downloadable PDF resource to summarize and clarify lessons.

Client Services

  • Many of our course video trainings are offered with closed captioning as well as in audio only and text only formats.  Where of benefit, each training includes a downloadable PDF resource to summarize and clarify lessons.  We are committed to updating all trainings to include these options by December 2023.

  • We have customized the coding in our Elevate performance training platform to optimize screen reader usability.

  • We have invested in scheduling tools to assist clients working with neurodivergence to make it easier to remember and attend live events.
